McNeil & Evans Joinery and Building was established in 2016, by Chris McNeil and Jordan Evans. With a combined industry experience of 30 years, Chris and Jordan have worked together on a range of projects in Macclesfield and the surrounding Cheshire area.

Committed to delivering premium-quality workmanship, we take a hands-on approach, with Chris and Jordan personally managing each project. Adept at delivering superior building services that are also cost-effective, we have built a reputation for excellence.

Experts in joinery, building, stonework, brickwork and steelwork, we also incorporate specialist trades into our team, including electricians, plumbers, gas engineers and roofers. This provides you with a complete building and project management service.

We also provide you with complete budget certainty on every project we undertake. Giving you a detailed and easy to understand quotation, we line item each element, ensuring there are no hidden costs.

We also offer flexible payment arrangements, enabling you to pay in fortnightly or monthly instalments.

With extensive joinery and building experience, Chris is an accomplished builder, project manager and business owner. Beginning his career as an apprentice in 2002, Chris was recognised for his dedication and skill with both local and regional awards. Fully committed to providing exceptional service, Chris continues to deliver projects completed to the highest quality.

  • GNVQ Level 2 and 3 Carpentry and Joinery 2000-2003
  • GNVQ Level 4 Site Management and Health and Safety 2004-2005
  • CSCS Construction Skills Certification Scheme (Current & Up-to-date)
  • Awarded Macclesfield Borough Councils Apprentice of the Year, 2002, 2003 & 2004
  • Awarded East Cheshire Apprentice of the Year by Total People, 2005

Jordan Evans

Director

A stonework and brickwork specialist, Jordan has been exceeding client’s expectations since 2005. With a keen eye for detail, Jordan is a perfectionist and goes above and beyond to achieve superb building outcomes for clients. An experienced project manager, Jordan coordinates each job site to ensure every project is delivered on time, every time.

Qualifications and Awards:

  • Completed Bricklaying apprenticeship with Jones Homes
  • GNVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying
  • Experienced in stonework, flagging, floor slabs, steelwork and underpinning
